Zach brings a balanced blend of experience to his role as a physical therapy clinic director, shaped by his journey as both an athletic trainer and physical therapist. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Grand Valley State University, honing his skills with esteemed organizations such as the Chicago Bears, Mississippi State University football, Rutgers University football, and local high schools in the Chicagoland area.
Furthering his education, Zach pursued a Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Azusa Pacific University. During this time, he expanded his proficiency in both athletic and outpatient orthopedic settings, working with a diverse clientele ranging from Olympians and professional athletes to seniors working toward functional goals.
Zach is a certified Exos Sport Performance Specialist, passionate about optimizing human movement to achieve peak performance and certified myofascial trigger point specialist with dry needling techniques. With a commitment to staying abreast of the latest research, Zach has contributed to the International Journal of Exercise Science and continuously seeks innovative approaches to patient care. His extensive repertoire includes manual therapy, orthopedics, sports medicine, pre/post-surgical rehabilitation, geriatric care, total joint replacements, gait/balance training, and dry needling.
Zach’s approach to patient care is characterized by a genuine desire to make a difference in people’s lives. Whether working with athletes striving for peak performance or individuals pursuing functional tolerance goals, Zach takes a holistic approach, tailoring each session to address the unique needs and objectives of every individual.
