Custom Orthotics

Custom Orthotics are shoe inserts designed to support and comfort your feet. These are specially made for the individual patient to match the contours of their foot. There are two different classifications of Custom Orthotics. There are functional orthotics, which are made to correct any motion abnormalities. Functional orthotics are often made of hard materials such as plastic. The other classification of Custom Orthotics is accommodative orthotics. Accommodative orthotics are very different from functional orthotics in that they are made of soft, supportive materials and are designed to provide added comfort and cushioning. They help those with diabetic foot ulcers, calluses, or any other painful conditions.
