Sheilah Schmitter

Sheilah is a physical therapist at Team Rehabilitation in Sterling Heights, where she helps patients of all ages move better, feel stronger, and get back to doing what they love. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from Oakland University in 2022 and has been putting her skills—and her genuine care for people—to work ever since.

She works with a wide range of orthopedic conditions, from sports injuries and post-surgery recovery to chronic aches and pains. Sheilah also has a special interest in women’s health and pediatric physical therapy, making her a go-to for patients of all walks (and waddles) of life.

When she’s not at the clinic, you can find Sheilah with a book in one hand and a baked good in the other. She also loves hiking, working out, and going on long walks with her dog. Time with family, friends, and her husband keeps her grounded—and keeps her laughing.
