Rachel Rivera

Rachel grew up in the Western Suburbs of Chicago. She attended Aurora University for her undergraduate degree and received a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training. She went on to complete her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Northern Illinois University. She is thrilled to be working for Team Rehabilitation at the Woodridge location.

Rachel was an avid athlete in her youth and in her undergraduate years. She experienced injuries that led her to need physical therapy, and this is where her interest in the profession was first sparked. She wanted to help people return to the activities they enjoyed, just like she was able to do with her physical therapy experience. Rachel enjoys the outpatient orthopedic setting and working with patients of all ages and populations. She works closely with patients to provide them an individualized rehab program to help them achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

In her free time, Rachel enjoys staying active, spending time outdoors, reading, and traveling the world with family and friends. She enjoys exploring Chicago and catching a sports game (especially the Cubs, Sky, and Bulls) whenever she can!
