Nia Green

PTA

Nia is overjoyed to join Team Rehab in Beverly. She studied at the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign, completing a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology in 2016. Nia then went to Fox College to earn her PTA certification in 2020. She has worked in all disciplines of physical therapy: acute care, inpatient rehab, and outpatient therapy. 

While Nia loves treating patients of all orthopedic and neuromuscular backgrounds, she is certified in Sports Performance and LSVT Big treating Parkinson patients and takes an interest in working with post-operative, injured workers, and vestibular patients. She is passionate about being a life-long learner and will continue to add to these skills. 

She has created a weekend workshop called Bulletproof Athlete to work with pre season athletes for injury prevention and sports performance. Workshops consist of myofascial releases, dynamic stretching, low/high intensity drills, speed and power exercises, and cool down mobility exercises. Within her scope of practice, gives guidance about nutrition misconceptions that could affect athletes. 

Nia’s professional goal is to help people create healthier minds, bodies, and spirits through physical therapy. She finds it fulfilling and rewarding to work in a profession that educates people and helps restore them to a healthy state of mind and body. It is her intention to create a welcoming place for preventive care, rehabilitation, fitness, and strength. In her free time, Nia enjoys spending time with her family, baking, biking, traveling and fitness.
