Melissa Stevens

Melissa is our amazing and experienced Occupational Therapist.  Melissa graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from Indiana University.  From then on, she continued to expand her skills working at a Level 1 trauma hospital, a sports medicine practice, an orthopedic hand surgeon private practice, and extensive experience working with a group of orthopedic upper extremity specialists and a plastic surgeon focusing on workman’s compensation.  Melissa’s experience includes treating upper extremity injuries both conservatively and post-operatively, fabricating custom orthotics, work conditioning and job simulation, and acute rehabilitation settings specializing in neurological disorders, trauma, and a variety of orthopedic diagnoses. Melissa’s passion for helping her patients achieve their personal goals is shown by her dedication with continuing her training to stay up to date on newest treatment techniques and her qualification as a Certified Hand Therapist.  In her spare time, Melissa enjoys being a grandma to her energetic and adorable grandchildren, telling bedtime stories, playing super heroes and princesses, and sneaking them an occasional treat.
