Meghan Liimatainen
Meg joined the Orland Park Team in January 2024 as an experienced Physical Therapist of 11 years.
She grew up in Westchester County, New York and attended Quinnipiac University in Connecticut where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science Studies and then her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2013. Go Bobcats! While there, Meg worked as a Personal Care Assistant to a young girl with a complex medical condition and participated in the group ‘Skiers Unlimited’ teaching children with all different abilities how to ski.
Meg was surrounded by healthcare workers in her family growing up – including her aunt who introduced her to the world of physical therapy. As a physical therapist, she takes pride in her ability to individualize and regularly change treatment plans to keep her patients engaged and challenged throughout their recovery process. Meg has taken a particular interest in Vestibular Therapy including attending The American Institute of Balance Vestibular Rehabilitation and Concussion Certification in 2025. She is also trained in Kinesiotaping, Therapeutic Cupping, Blood Flow Restriction [BFR] Training, and the Graston Technique.
Outside of work, Meg enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. She visits her family and friends as much as possible on the East Coast and visits her happy place every summer at the Jersey Shore.
