Mary earned a doctorate degree (DPT) from Emory University in Atlanta, GA in 2014 and has practiced in outpatient orthopedics since that time. She is also a certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) and earned that degree from University of Illinois in Champaign. She worked with numerous Division I athletic programs during her time with U of I, as well as a local high school sports program. She treats orthopedic conditions with a special interest in the athletic population, as well as total joint replacements. She is also certified in working with Tactile Athletes and specializes in developing return to work programs for Firefighters and Police Officers. She enjoys working with the Women’s Health population and is trained in Obstetrics and Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy. She is certified in dry needling; instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization and blood flow restriction therapy and uses these when appropriate for patients. She focuses on her patient’s needs during their treatment and individualizes their plan of care based on their impairments and goals in order to produce the highest level of function.
