Mandy Lopez

DPTAT

Mandy graduated from Concordia University in Mequon with a Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training and continued her education there earning her Doctorate of Physical Therapy..

She began her career in outpatient orthopedics in Chicago, working with patients of multiple ethnic backgrounds and socioeconomic status, giving her the experience needed to diversify her treatment.  She has taken many continuing education courses through the Gary Gray Institute for certifications in applied functional science and movement analysis and performance systems.  This has allowed her to look at movement and body mechanics in a new way, and has given her the resources to individualize her treatment for each patient.  She also has extensive training in foot/ ankle rehabilitation and gait analysis as well as hip preservation, working alongside some of the top doctors in Chicago. Mandy believes that functional based exercises and treatment is the best route to achieving patient goals and improving quality of life.

Mandy grew up in Oak Creek and currently resides in Bayview with her husband and 2 daughters.  Her and her husband are avid sports fans, and have a “civil” rivalry between Wisconsin and Chicago sports teams and have been to many games and multiple stadiums, usually celebrating WI wins! She also enjoys playing volleyball, working out, and cooking.
