Maciej Kozlowski
Maciej earned his Doctorate of Physical therapy (DPT) from Northern Illinois University.
He was a former collegiate football player who underwent multiple strength and conditioning mentorships under reputable coaches who provided him the opportunity to coach a variety of collegiate players and work with current NFL athletes. This experience allowed him to progress his coaching skills by taking on clients and working as a personal trainer while earning his Doctorate during PT school. Additionally, he completed a Sports Mentorship program through NIU where he learned a variety of advanced sport specific skills and techniques from clinicians that specialized in treating the athletic population. Lastly, he also participated in numerous “Starting Strength” seminars and classes during a clinical experience.
In regards to clinical practice, Maciej believes in providing patients with a hands on approach that consists of using manual therapy techniques to correct biomechanical abnormalities and then using exercise to further reinforce proper movement patterns with progressive overload. He enjoys working with a diverse patient populace presenting with a variety of conditions ranging from post-operative procedures, chronic pain, workplace incidents, trauma, and sport specific injuries.
In his free time, Maciej enjoys working on his fitness, reading, hiking, exploring state parks, and being with his friends and family. He is also fluent in Polish.
