Kennedy Welsh

Kennedy earned her Bachelor of Education in Exercise and Sport Science from The University of Georgia in 2018. She went on to earn her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Augusta University in 2021.

Prior to graduate school, Kennedy was exposed to physical therapy through several injuries that her family members experienced.  Through these injuries, she attended many therapy sessions and observed her loved ones return to their prior level of function. This is what caused her to fall in love with the profession. Kennedy’s goal is to assist her patient’s in achieving their personal goals by creating a patient specific plan of care.  

Outside of physical therapy, Kennedy enjoys cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs, going to the gym, enjoying the outdoors and spending time with her family and friends.
