Julia was born and raised on the South Side of Chicago and is thrilled to have a clinic to serve those in her own community. After graduating from Marist High School, she studied at DePaul University, completing a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science with a minor in Biology in 2013. Julia then went on to earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Northern Illinois University in 2018.
Since then, Julia has furthered her education to specialize in treatment of vertigo and dizziness, and enjoys treating patients of all ages who are dealing with a variety of musculoskeletal issues. She is especially interested in the treatment of cervical spine issues including headaches, whiplash and neck pain, as well as foot and ankle injuries. Julia is certified in Dry Needling with the Spinal Manipulation Institute, as well as Functional Capacity Evaluations and Work Conditioning. She strives to be a lifelong learner, and utilizes new interventions to help her patients meet their individual goals. Her goal is to connect with her patient’s and ensure they receive the best care possible by implementing individualized and evidence based treatment. Julia has over 12 years of experience as a group fitness instructor including yoga, Pilates and dance, allowing her to be creative with the implementation and progression of exercises to meet every patient’s needs.
Outside of the clinic, Julia enjoys spending time with her 2 children, husband and their bullmastiff, as well as cooking and taking classes at the local TreadFit.
