John received his Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the Evidence in Motion (EIM) Health Institute. He is Board Certified in Orthopedics, a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and a Certified Integrated Manual Therapist. He is also a Level 1 USA Track and Field Coach and the Director and Owner of the Precision Running Academy.
He lectures nationally for Great Lakes Seminars and The Association of Clinical Excellence, where he assists in the development of continuing education courses. His treatment style utilizes a scientific, systems-based analytical approach, evaluating and treating the whole person, not just the painful area. His treatments focus on skilled manual therapy – including joint and soft tissue mobilization, manipulation, and dry needling, targeted strength and mobility interventions, and movement education to provide each client three-¬dimensional care focused on their movement goals.
John is an avid runner, completing multiple Ultra Marathons each year, ranging from 50K to 150 miles, and has a passion for treating all types of endurance athletes. When not traveling to teach or training for a race, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children.
