Giovanni Velez

Giovani Velez is a bilingual Physical Therapist from the metro Atlanta area with a passion for serving the underserved community. He received his Bachelor of Biological Science from Georgia State University in 2019 and continued his educational journey at Georgia State University by completing his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2022. Through his career as a student, Giovani was able to gain experience working in diverse clinical settings such as skilled nursing facilities, outpatient orthopedics and sports rehabilitation, as well as acute care and inpatient rehabilitation. Through these experiences, he was able to refine his skills as a therapist and provide optimal patient care in both English and Spanish to the greater Atlanta area.

His mission is to catalyze self-empowerment and cultivate community through the attitudes of love, compassion, empathy, and encouragement to ultimately promote healthy lifestyles beyond the physical while focused on the individual. In his free time, Giovani enjoys spending time with his family, playing the drums and guitar as well as producing music, hiking, and finding new restaurants to enjoy.
