Eric Silcroft

Eric earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Midwestern University, graduating in 2018. He attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where he received his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2015. His passion for physical therapy stems from a strong desire to assist people in recovery and sustain a healthy lifestyle. His background as a Certified Personal Trainer with the National Academy of Sports Medicine fuels his enthusiasm about teaching people to function at higher levels of physical activity.

Since receiving his DPT in 2018, Eric has practiced in the outpatient orthopedic setting. Eric is Dry Needling certified and has expanded his skill set through Myopain Seminars. His treatment underlines how the muscular system is involved in one’s condition and tailors his treatment plan towards every person’s needs. Eric utilizes a comprehensive treatment approach by evaluating the way an individual’s life elements impact the recovery. He aims to balance these elements to overcome barriers of behavioral change, inspire positive attitudes, and fortify mental toughness. Eric’s passion lies within educating patients on how to prevent injuries and maintain physical autonomy.

Eric is thrilled to be working at Team Rehab River West clinic treating patients in the immediate neighborhood and also the surrounding neighborhoods of Chicago. Eric is from the Northern Suburbs of Chicago but enjoys traveling on adventures with his girlfriend Brooke and dog Khaya. On the weekend, Eric loves to host yoga brunch for friends and family when he’s not playing golf, spikeball, or weightlifting.
