Eric earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Midwestern University, graduating in 2018. He attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where he received his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2015. Eric utilizes a multi-systems treatment approach by evaluating the way an individual’s life impacts the recovery. He aims to inspire positive attitudes, overcome barriers of behavioral change, and foster mental resiliency. His passion for physical therapy stems from a strong desire to assist people in recovery and his background as a NASM – Certified Personal Trainer to sustain a healthy lifestyle.
Since receiving his DPT in 2018, Eric has practiced in the outpatient orthopedic setting. His treatment underlines how the muscular system is involved in one’s condition, and he tailors his treatment plan towards every person’s needs. He implements recovery tools, employs current rehabilitative technology, and uses Cupping Therapy techniques. Eric is also Certified in Dry Needling through Myopain Seminars for 4+ years and provides demonstrations at local physician’s offices. His passion lies within educating both patients and providers on how to prevent injuries and maintain physical autonomy. Eric focuses on patient preference to deliver comprehensive and collaborative care.
Eric also provides canine physical therapy and animal rehab part time at The K9PT in the Mayfair neighborhood, completing his CCAT in 2023 through NC State’s Veterinarian Medicine Program. From the Northern Suburbs of Chicago, Eric enjoys traveling on adventures with his wife Brooke and dogs Khaya and Luna. Other than playing sports and practicing yoga, you can find Eric and family strolling around to local coffeeshops, dives and breweries.
