Colin O’Brien

Colin attended the University of Wisconsin Green Bay earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Biology with emphasis in Pre-Med, while competing as a Division 1 soccer player. He continued his education and graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy.

Colin has participated in numerous continuing education courses including advanced manual therapy techniques for the spine, treatment of TMJ disorders and advanced balance and dizziness training. In 2013, he completed his certification in intramuscular dry needling. Colin has studied at the James Andrews Sports Medicine Institute of Birmingham, Alabama, working with athletes from high school to professional ranks. He also established his specialty in Vestibular Rehabilitation, which encompasses the treatment of dizziness and balance disorders, while at the Geisinger Vestibular and Balance Center of Danville, Pennsylvania.

Colin works to empower his patients utilizing a collaborative approach, combining education relating to the patient’s condition and the proposed course of therapies.  Colin’s focus is to get his patients back to their desired level of activity and provide the tools to stay there.

Colin’s professional affiliations include the American Physical Therapy Association, Wisconsin Physical Therapy Association, and the Vestibular Disorders Association.

Colin resides in the North Shore with his wife and family. He is a dedicated Badger and Packer fan and enjoys biking and trail running. He remains active in the local soccer community.
