Cindy is a proud alumna of Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree in 2011.
Her passion for helping the injured person started when she was a competitive figure skater and having to go through physical therapy herself. She saw how important it was and how much of an impact it had on returning her back to the ice. Cindy has work experience in orthopedic conditions, sports-related injuries, post-surgical conditions and joint replacements, neurological disorders, and vestibular dysfunction. She has a special interest in treating the injured worker, including strengthening, conditioning, and work-simulated activities in order to safely meet work demands. In addition, she is trained in utilizing Graston instruments and Dry Needling to assist with decreasing her patient’s pain.
Cindy takes pride in her ability to develop a rapport with each of her patients, built on compassion, trust, and encouragement. She takes into account their abilities, wishes, and needs when developing their individualized plan of care. She is constantly working towards expanding her education and advancing her skills, which has allowed her a greater ability to provide the highest quality of care for her patients. Whether her patients are competitive athletes, weekend warriors, or common men/women, Cindy’s primary goal is to improve their quality of life and return them to what they love to do.
Outside of the clinic, Cindy enjoys outdoor activities, traveling, staying active, and spending time with her family and friends.
