Ben Altgilbers
After earning a Master’s Degree in Sports Management from Northern Illinois University, Ben moved to Wisconsin to begin a career as a health/fitness consultant and NSCA certified strength & conditioning specialist. While dedicating nearly 15 years to helping others improve their health, functional mobility and athletic performance, he developed a deeper interest in the process and application of physical rehabilitation. This led to him earning his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, as well as post-graduate certifications in dry needling, running gait analysis, applied functional science and vestibular rehabilitation.
He’s also completed advanced coursework in foot and ankle, soft tissue and fascial mobilization, functional movement assessment and treatment of cervical disorders and headache. Ben’s experiences provide him with a unique perspective for treating a wide variety of patients and conditions through a holistic approach that utilizes functional movement, manual therapy and education.
He enjoys hiking, traveling, pursuing continuing education and spending time with his wife, daughter and son. He has a passion for fitness, having completed 2 marathons and multiple powerlifting programs, as well as participating in various recreational sports.
