Alexa Silversides

Alexa recently moved from Dallas, Texas to the northern suburbs of Illinois and is excited to start her career at Team Rehab! Alexa received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Baylor University and her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Central Michigan University.

Alexa enjoys treating individuals of all ages and has had the opportunity to work in many different settings. She has completed clinical rotations in outpatient orthopedic clinics, inpatient hospitals, and urgent cares focused on workers compensation. She uses a combination of manual techniques and functional exercises to help patients get back to what they love to do, whether that be their hobbies, work, or sports. Alexa has a passion for learning and expanding her skills as a physical therapist and is excited to begin participating in a variety of continuing education courses.

Alexa grew up in Michigan and enjoys a wide range of outdoor activities like kayaking, hiking, skiing, and playing volleyball. In her free time, you’ll find her at the gym, on the lake, or spending time with her family and friends. She is looking forward to assisting those in the Long Grove & Buffalo Grove community and making an impact on all her patients’ lives.
