Adrianna Nebedum

Adrianna graduated from Spelman College in 2005 with a B.S. in Chemistry. While at Spelman, she was a member of the Women’s NCAA basketball team for all four years and the Women’s NCAA soccer team for one year. In 2009, Adrianna received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Georgia State University and in 2010 she completed the Mercer University’s Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency program.  Adrianna’s love for sports, personal history of multiple knee surgeries and major sports injuries have fueled her clinical interests including the treatment and prevention of injuries common to athletes at all levels ranging from youth sports to professional.

Adrianna is a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist and a member of the American Physical Therapy Association – Orthopedic and Sports sections.  Adrianna is also an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at Mercer University Physical Therapy.  Her clinical specialties include manual therapy, dry needling, Redcord, return to sports training, and sports injury prevention.

Outside of work you can find Adrianna playing in recreational flag football, basketball, or softball leagues.  She is also an avid runner and has run over a half dozen 1/2 marathons and multiple 5K/10K races.  She is also huge fan supporter to our local professional sports teams….Go Hawks, Falcons, Dream, and Braves!
