Ed Bloom

PTDPT

Ed graduated with his Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science and Kinesiology from Indiana University in 2006, and with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Indiana University in 2009.

He is certified in Graston Technique and Functional Dry Needling. Ed also is competent in treating patients with TMD and vestibular dysfunctions. He is also an adjunct lab assistant with Indiana University’s Doctorate of Physical Therapy program in the musculoskeletal class for 2nd and 3rd year students. Ed has been a guest lecturer for ACL rehabilitation and Functional Dry Needling for the IU DPT program.

Ed has been married to his wife Missy for 11 years, whom is also a Physical Therapist. Ed originally is from Northwest Indiana where he began his career. Missy and Ed then moved to Colorado for 8 years until they then moved back to Indiana to be closer to family. They have 2 daughters 7 and 4 years old that are very active in cheer, ballet, swim, and softball. When not busy treating patients, Ed loves to spend time with his family, play golf, slow pitch softball, hiking, and travelling.

 

Ed believes that all patients deserve an individualized treatment plan based on the best evidence available. Patient education and communication to all people involved in the patients plan of care is essential to having successful outcomes.
