Elvin Lama Sosa
Elvin has been treating patients since receiving his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2023 from Rosalind Franklin University. He received his Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science in 2020 from Illinois State University.
He has experience treating: Sport Medicine, Pre/Post Surgical Patients, ACL Prevention, Advance Return to Sport and general orthopedic conditions. Elvin has completed extensive continuing education in manual therapy, Dry Needling, Work Conditioning, Functional Capacity Evaluations, Selective Functional Movement Assessment, Vestibular Rehabilitation and Concussion. Fluent in Spanish, Elvin’s ability to speak a second language has allowed him to connect with a broader range of patients, fostering better communication and understanding.
He has a passion for helping patients achieve their optimal physical health; and is committed to empowering his patients to regain function, reduce pain and improve their overall quality of life. As a proud Palatine High School alum, Elvin remains deeply connected to the community where he is dedicated to serving and supporting his neighbors, ensuring that they lead healthy, active lives.
In his free time, he enjoys playing outdoor sports, spending time with friends and family, and traveling.
