Desmond Rocker

Desmond Rocker is a fitness enthusiast who has been on a journey from being a passionate athlete in early academic years to pursuing a career in healing others. As a current student in the Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) Program at Atlanta Tech, Desmond’s personal journey to recovery has fueled his determination to help others feel their best while facing physical challenges. Even in undergoing not one, but two full ACL surgeries, and facing some of the toughest challenges in recovery, Desmond cultivated a new passion for understanding the human body’s resilience and recovery mechanisms. His story has allowed him to see the value in remaining determined through hardship and also recognizing the important role that physical therapy plays in restoring the body, mind, and spirit. When Desmond is not treating patients, he’s spending time in nature, working out or boxing. He hopes to make a lasting impact on all of the individuals seeking rediscovery of their full potential.
