Daniel Waller

Daniel is honored to serve the Long Grove area with Team Rehabilitation. Daniel is passionate about customizing detailed treatment plans that fit the unique needs of each patient. Daniel strives daily to inspire patient independence, restore confidence in movement and sports, and dramatically improve outcomes through evidence-based practice. Daniel believes it is important for patients to feel heard and have a voice in the direction of their treatment plan.

 

Daniel received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Bachelors Degree in Human Physiology from the University of Iowa. He has advanced training in manual therapy techniques, is a certified running gait analyst for walking and running skills, and is a certified myofascial trigger point therapist providing dry needling therapy. In addition, he has specialized vestibular training from the American Institute of Balance, treating patients with dizziness and concussions. Daniel has vast experience applying this knowledge to help patients with low back pain, neck pain, shoulder injuries, headaches, vertigo, hip, knee, shoulder, and foot pain.

 

Daniel plays competitive soccer on the weekends, is often training for marathons and triathlons, and was a collegiate rower at the University of Iowa. He also has experience working with adaptive climbing programs in Chicago helping individuals with orthopedic and neurologic deficits participate in rock climbing. He is eager to help athletes reach their full potential, and for all patients to reach their unique goals.
