Jamie graduated from Western Michigan University in 2008 with her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy. She specializes in neuro-rehabilitation and enjoys working with people to restore function after strokes, spinal cord injuries, or brain injuries. Jamie also treats orthopedic conditions including fractures and repetitive strain injuries such as carpal tunnel syndrome or tennis elbow. As a trained Saebo therapist, Jamie uses products including the SaeboFlex, a mechanical brace to help people with muscle weakness relearn how to open and close their hands after a stroke. She is also experienced with Bioness H200, an electrical stimulation device to help with motor recovery for a grasp and release pattern. Jamie is certified to provide LSVT BIG therapy, which is a full body exercise program to help improve quality of movement for people with Parkinson’s Disease. Jamie is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) and the Michigan Occupational Therapy Association (MIOTA).
