Yafa Hajali
Yafa is a proud Chicago native and graduate of the Physical Therapist Assistant program at Malcolm X College, completing her degree in the spring of 2025. Raised by two hard working immigrant parents who came to the U.S. to create more opportunities for their children, Yafa brings that same sense of drive and purpose into her work with every patient she meets.
Her path into physical therapy started early — after graduating high school, she became a certified EMT, drawn to the fast-paced nature of patient care. Over time, she realized she wanted to combine her interest in health with her love of movement, which led her to pursue physical therapy. Blending a lifelong passion for fitness with a genuine desire to help others, Yafa found her calling in rehab — where movement meets meaning.
During her clinical rotations at Team Rehab Orland Park, Yafa immediately connected with the supportive atmosphere, collaborative team, and patient-centered approach. The experience left such a strong impression that she chose to begin her PTA career right here at the clinic.
Her approach is down-to-earth, encouraging, and focused on helping people feel stronger, more capable, and more confident in their everyday lives.
When she’s not in the clinic, you’ll probably find Yafa trying a new workout, hiking a nearby trail, or exploring Chicago’s restaurant scene with friends and family.
