Watson Lewis

Dr. Watson Lewis is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, Certified Athletic Trainer, and Clinic Director at Team Rehabilitation Physical Therapy in Athens, Georgia. With a strong background in orthopedic and sports medicine rehabilitation, he enjoys helping athletes and active individuals recover from injury, improve performance, and confidently return to the activities they love. He also has extensive experience treating post-operative conditions, orthopedic injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal pain.

Watson believes that the best outcomes come from combining evidence-based care with a personalized approach. He takes the time to understand each patient’s goals and develops treatment plans that are both effective and practical, empowering patients to stay active long after therapy ends.

As a former athletic trainer, at both the high school and collegiate levels, Watson has a special passion for working with athletes of all ages—from high school competitors to weekend warriors—and helping them safely return to sport. In addition to patient care, he enjoys mentoring future physical therapists and fostering a collaborative, growth-focused clinic environment. Outside the clinic, Watson enjoys spending time with his family, staying active, and cheering on Georgia athletics.
