Vanessa Owusu

Vanessa Owusu, PT, DPT, graduated with her degree in Sociology from Roosevelt University in Chicago, IL and continued onto receive her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Trine University in Fort Wayne, IN.  

Vanessa is certified in LSVT Big which is a specialized program for individuals with Parkinson’s Disease. This program involves individuals performing a series of exercises with big movements in order to improve their everyday function. She takes an interest in working with all patient populations including geriatrics, post-operative, and sport-related injuries. She enjoys interacting with patients to learn about their hobbies, and goals in order to get them back to what they love doing. She looks to further her develop her clinical skills in manual therapy techniques.

She lives with her family in the southwest suburbs and in her free time she enjoys riding her bike, skating, and spending time with her family and friends.
