Ursula Booth

Ursula has been helping patients for more than 20 years since receiving her physical therapy degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.  She has worked extensively with people suffering from back, neck, shoulder, knee and foot/ankle pain; as well as helping those recover from a multitude of post-operative conditions and chronic pain. She develops an easy rapport with her patients and loves to provide education that empowers them with knowledge on proper exercises, and healthy habits which can prevent and/or alleviate symptoms caused by stress and inactivity.  Her continuing education course work has included, but not limited to:

•Maitland Manual Therapy of the Spine and Peripheral Joints

•ASTYM (A form of instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization)

•Medical Cupping for Myofascial Decompression

•Rotator Cuff Dysfunctions and Treatment

•SI joint Specialist

•Fibromyalgia and Myofascial pain syndromes

•Medical Exercise Therapy

•Manual Interventions for Knee Joint Pain

In addition, Ursula holds certifications as a Posture Specialist from the National Posture Institute and in Health Coaching from the American Council on Exercise. Away from work, Ursula loves to take walks with her dog Pepper.  She also enjoys traveling, reading, and telling corny jokes (you’ll have to become a patient to hear one).
