Shoua Thao

Shoua is a first generation alumni from the University of Wisconsin Madison and is originally from Saint Paul so she is both a Badger and a Vikings fan. She graduated with a Bachelors in Health Promotion and Health Equity and is a Pi Beta Phi sorority alum. Shoua’s degree inspired her to fight for positive and healthy work environments, advocating for patient rights and treatment, cultural awareness and more. She hopes to continue her education and career in the Health Administrative field. Shoua has experience working at assisted living facilities, hospitals, emergency rooms, and mental health units. She aspires to create safe and welcoming spaces for her patients as well as her peers.

Some of Shoua’s hobbies are reading self-help or fictional books, listening to true crime podcasts, and spending time in the kitchen cooking. She is happy to discuss your favorite books and dishes/recipes with you!
