Shelbie Whitaker

Shelbie Whitaker, PT, DPT started with Team Rehab as a float therapist in 2020, but has been on staff full time at Carmel 1 since July 2022.

Shelbie graduated from University of Indianapolis with her undergraduate degree and completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy at Indiana State in 2018. She has experience as a PT in acute care rehab as well as experience as a firefighter and EMT. She has an extensive background in gymnastics and currently still coaches elementary school beginners. She is a competitive CrossFit athlete, Level 1 trained, and has worked at the CrossFit Games as a PT for the 2021 and 2022 games. Post graduate certifications include myofascial cupping, dry needling, soft tissue mobilization, kinesiotaping, and blood flow restriction.
