Sara Bergin

Sara earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Northern Iowa before going on to complete her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree at Des Moines University.

Sara has experience treating a variety of orthopedic and vestibular conditions and is passionate about helping individuals improve their function, reduce pain, and return to the activities that are most meaningful to them. She particularly enjoys working with older adults and values building strong relationships with her patients throughout their rehabilitation journey. Whether a patient’s goal is to stay active, maintain independence, or return to a favorite hobby, Sara is dedicated to providing personalized, evidence-based care to help them achieve their goals and get back to their normal lives.

Sara believes that successful rehabilitation comes from collaboration, education, and empowering patients to take an active role in their recovery. She strives to create a supportive environment where patients feel confident, motivated, and equipped to succeed both during therapy and beyond.

Outside of the clinic, Sara enjoys attending concerts, reading, spending time with family and friends, and taking advantage of outdoor activities whenever she can. She is excited to help members of her community move better, feel better, and live life to the fullest.
