Katie Dewitt
Katie graduated from Oakland University with Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Dance Performance in 2021. During this time, she was a company member with the Repertory Dance Company and an intern with both Eisenhower Dance Detroit and Take Root. She then graduated from Oakland University with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2024, with clinical rotations in settings focused in orthopedics, pediatrics, geriatrics, and sports medicine. When working with patients, Katie looks at the body as a whole, treating not only the symptoms, but also the cause. It is her mission to exceed her patients’ goals and return each person back to doing what they love! While Katie treats all orthopedic cases, she specializes in dancers, gymnasts, and cheerleaders, with a goal of encouraging safe training for the performing athlete. When not in the clinic, Katie loves to spend time with friends and family watching sports or spending time outdoors hiking or golfing.
