Jonathan Marquina

A graduate from the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) and an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Bucknell University, Jonathan is looking to bring his background into the clinic to help emphasize the importance of both physical and mental health. As a former patient of Physical Therapy himself, he knows firsthand the difference that is made when a physical therapist pushes and motivates while listening to every concern the patient may have. Jonathan looks to be that physical therapist for his patients as they work together to achieve the patient’s goals.

He has had clinical experience treating a variety of ages ranging from newborns to geriatrics. That clinical experience has led to him treating various diagnoses, and he is passionate about helping his patients while taking each experience and using it to further expand his knowledge and practice. Jonathan looks to further his skill set and specialize in Vestibular Therapy.

A native Spanish speaker, Jonathan is dedicated to bridging the language barriers within the Hispanic community and healthcare to help patients feel more comfortable and engaged with their treatment, knowing their concerns and questions are being heard and understood.

Outside the clinic, Jonathan enjoys playing soccer and working out. He also enjoys trying new restaurants, using his down time to watch sports games, and traveling back to his hometown to visit and spend time with his family.
