Jon Nettie

Jon has been practicing since 1992 and has a Master’s in Physical Therapy from the University of Michigan-Flint and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Wayne State University.  His experience is with a variety of orthopedic conditions and extensively with return to work programming. His duties as director are to assist in marketing and community outreach, development of programs for the department and potential Team Rehabilitation wide programs as they relate to fitness, nutrition, body/lifting mechanics, transfer training and pain management for the “Industrial Athlete.” He also has experience in Work Hardening/Conditioning, Light Duty Programming, and developing functional performance assessments for potential new hires. His manual therapy skills include muscle energy, myofascial release, and strain-counter strain. He also has experience in treating temporomandibular dysfunction. He was a part-time faculty member at the Wayne State University Physical Therapy Program and has presented guest lectures on Occupational Rehabilitation and Cumulative Trauma Disorders for the University of Michigan-Flint and Wayne State University Physical Therapy Programs. Jon is certified in Functional Capacity Evaluations, Ergonomic Desk Assessments and Industrial Assessments (Ergonomics, Job Description re-writes, Light Duty Programming).
