James, better known to everyone as JP, attended the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science in 2022. He continued his education at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee and received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2026.
JP has gained clinical experience in a variety of settings, including outpatient orthopedics, sports medicine, and acute care. While finishing up his schooling, JP spent close to four years working as a tech for Team Rehab. Throughout his clinical rotations and professional experiences, he has worked with patients of varying ages and activity levels who present with a wide range of orthopedic and functional conditions. These experiences have helped shape his passion for helping individuals return to the activities most important to them, whether that be work, sports, exercise, or everyday life.
As a physical therapist, JP strives to provide individualized, evidence-based care while building strong relationships with his patients. He enjoys helping patients achieve their goals, improve their quality of life, and return to doing the things they enjoy most. He is passionate about continuing to grow as a clinician and expanding his skill set to best serve his patients and community.
Outside of the clinic, you can most likely catch JP at a Brewers game on his days off. JP enjoys staying active through exercise, sports, and spending time outdoors. He also enjoys watching sports, playing kubb, spending time with friends and family, and cheering on the Brewers, Packers, and Bucks.
