Hannah Laurent, DPT, LAT, ATC, works as a licensed physical therapist at Team Rehab.
Her special interests include baseball, swimming, performing arts, basketball, high level sports rehab/return to sport
Hannah received her undergrad and master’s degrees from Franklin College in Franklin, IN. She earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise science with a minor in fitness and received her master’s degree in athletic training.
In 2022, Hannah earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine. She completed her athletic training internship at Disney’s ESPN Wide World of Sports in Orlando, FL. She also worked a lot with dancers, musicians and circus performers at this time. She then completed her Physical Therapy clinicals working with professional (MLB, MiLB, NFL, NBA/WNBA, Soccer, Golf), collegiate (D1-D3), high school, youth, and recreational athletes and within the acute care setting as well helping mostly in the critical care unit, ICU, PCU and ER. Her passion is working with athletes and helping them rehab and recover while educating them on what is happening to cause their injuries so they can prevent them in the future.
By utilizing the Movement System Impairment (MSI) approach, we can look at movement mechanics and truly get an understanding of what is wrong, why it is happening, and how we are going to fix it. Hannah is an avid sports fan (Colts, Cubs, Indy Indians) and loves the performing arts. She enjoys swimming in her free time, traveling and spending time with her husband and family.
