Gina Pizzoferrato
Gina graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Loyola University Chicago in 2012. She earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Midwestern University in 2015. She has been working in outpatient orthopedic settings since graduating and has managed an outpatient facility where she was able to connect with physicians in the area.
Gina became interested in physical therapy after a string of sports injuries lead her to outpatient physical therapy. Despite initial curiosity in sports rehab, she developed an interest in treating neck and low back pain. She truly enjoys building relationships with her patients and strives to provide a well-rounded approach to treatment. Gina is also dry needling certified and enjoys learning about pain science.
Gina was raised in the Western Suburbs where she met her husband in high school. She loves working out and attending fitness classes, especially with her sister. She lived in Spain during college, has a passion for traveling, and has visited over 20 countries. She enjoys sipping on great cups of coffee, trying new restaurants, and watching sports events – Go Cubbies!
