Ellen received her Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise and Sport Science from the University of Georgia and completed her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Georgia State University. Her interest in physical therapy began when had to attend physical therapy after sustaining an injury during her dance career.
Ellen holds specialty certifications in Dry Needling from AAMT. She also holds Pilates certifications from Balanced Body in Mat 1-3 and Reformer 1-3.
Ellen’s goal for every patient is to create individualized programs by educating upon their current condition, setting goals together, and providing evidence-based treatment to get back to what they love. Ellen has a special interest in women’s health and pelvic floor conditions. She also has a special interest in treating dance specific injuries due to years of personal experience from intensive ballet to college dance to NFL cheerleading.
Outside of work, you can find her cheering on the Dawgs, practicing Pilates, and trying to learn golf.
