Devon earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from Ithaca College’s accelerated program, where she also played collegiate soccer during her undergraduate years. Throughout her academic journey, Devon served on the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Student Board of Directors and became the first Student Member of the Physical Therapy Journal (PTJ) Editorial Board. After graduation, Devon completed Emory University’s Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Residency while working at the Atlanta Hawks Sports Medicine Complex. She received advanced training in manual therapy skills, assessing complex musculoskeletal conditions, maximizing athletic performance, and enhancing post-operative outcomes– all of which prepared her to achieve Board Certification as a Clinical Specialist in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy (OCS). Devon is experienced in treating sports-related injuries ranging from the youth to professional level and she specializes in soccer-specific rehabilitation.
Beyond the clinic, Devon is an Adjunct Instructor for the South College DPT program, where she shares her insights and shapes the next generation of physical therapists. She continues to engage in research aimed at advancing the profession and improving patient outcomes, presenting her findings at national conferences.
Outside of work, Devon values spending quality time with her family and friends, traveling, embracing an active lifestyle, and learning new skills. She is also a fan of Nintendo gaming, particularly The Legend of Zelda series!
