Deanna Chmielewski

Deanna earned both her Bachelor in Health Science in 2016 and Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2019 at the University of Cincinnati.

Prior to physical therapy, Deanna attended high school at the Harid Conservatory in Boca Raton Florida where she studied as a pre-professional ballet dancer. She continued her training at the University of Cincinnati’s College Conservatory of Music on scholarship with a major in Ballet before dancing with Cincinnati Ballet during the 2011-2012 season. After several injuries and much time spent with Cincinnati Ballet’s physical therapists, Deanna went back to the University of Cincinnati to pursue a career in physical therapy with the hopes of one day treating dancers. Deanna quickly fell in love with physical therapy and helping patients with a wide variety of injuries and backgrounds get back to doing what they love.

Outside of physical therapy, Deanna is an enthusiastic Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United fan, enjoys hiking, watching TV, and attending as many ballet performances as possible. She also helps her dad with his videography business, PointeDVD, which provides high definition performance video to over 30 dance studios and performing arts programs in the Atlanta area.
