Courtney Cox
ATC
Courtney Cox, ATC, LAT, is a certified athletic trainer with Team Rehab and has served as an athletic trainer with Indy Eleven Academy since 2018. Prior to joining Indy Eleven Academy, she worked as a full-time athletic trainer at Grand Park. Courtney is certified through the National Athletic Trainers’ Association and is licensed to practice in the state of Indiana.
Courtney earned her Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from Ball State University, where she gained extensive clinical experience across collegiate athletics, high school sports, orthopedic care, and elite athlete training environments. Her education included clinical rotations with Ball State football, basketball, baseball, and track and field, as well as an orthopedic rotation at Henry Community Health and an internship working with collegiate and professional basketball athletes.
Courtney has a strong passion for soccer and works most closely with the ECNL Girls teams at Indy Eleven Academy. She and her colleague, Sierra, lead and coordinate medical coverage for large-scale tournaments. Her clinical interests include injury prevention, concussion management, and guiding athletes through safe and effective rehabilitation and return-to-play processes.
Courtney emphasizes a collaborative, team-based approach to athlete care, working closely with physicians, physical therapists, coaches, athletes, and families to ensure comprehensive and individualized treatment. She is committed to keeping athletes healthy while supporting their long-term development and performance.
