Christine Waite

Christine graduated with her bachelor’s degree from Bethune-Cookman University in 2012 after transferring from The University of Tennessee. During her undergraduate education, she worked as an intercollegiate strength and conditioning intern at both universities. Christine earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Georgia State University in 2022.

She then went on to work professionally as a strength and conditioning coach for McMurry University, South Carolina State University, and Atlanta Juniors Rowing Association. Over the duration of her coaching career, she worked with football, soccer, basketball, softball, tennis, rowing, track and field, swimming and diving, cheerleading, bowling, and volleyball teams, as well as athletes from middle school to the professional level.  Her passion for improving her athletes’ performance and overall well-being has blossomed into a passion for helping her patients not only get better but thrive. 

Christine is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and a Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC) through the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association. Her clinical specialties and interests include return to sport, concussion, neurological conditions, manual therapy, adaptive fitness, and performance training. 

Christine is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She enjoys weightlifting, playing flag football, attending sporting events, walking the beltline, reading, trying out new creative hobbies, and hanging out with her two cats—Ava and Ruth.
