Christine Hartl

PTDPT

Christine attended and graduated from Marquette University with a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering and her doctorate in Physical Therapy.

Christine has clinical experience in outpatient orthopedic, sports medicine, and neurologic settings. She has built upon knowledge gained from excellent mentors in these settings with continuing education and certifications in dry needling, applied functional science, and worker’s compensation and work conditioning documentation software. She has personal experience with sports injuries and surgery, being a former soccer player, but passionately works with all populations and diagnoses.

Her treatment approach emphasizes manual therapies paired with joint-specific and global movement, encouraging her patients to take ownership of their recovery. She is driven by the desire to help patients address the physical and psychological components of recovery so that they can achieve whichever goals matter most to them. She has special interest in helping injured workers return to their jobs at full function, using OccuPro software to document and track functional skills needed for work duties. In addition to her clinical practice, she also serves as the chair for APTA Wisconsin Chapter’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee.

Christine grew up in Delafield and loves hiking, running, and biking in Waukesha and Milwaukee county parks. In her free time, you’ll find her walking or running at the Milwaukee lakefront, at a brewery, or spending time with her family and friends. She is looking forward to working with you!
