Ashley Freeman

Ashley has been treating patients with Team Rehab since June of 2021 as a float clinician until she found a permanent home with the Algonquin team! Ashley earned her associates and Physical Therapist Assistant degree at Elgin Community College in 2021. Ashley’s interests in the clinic are total knee replacements as well as cervical pain associated with headaches and migraines. She believes her manual treatment skill and knowledge is a great tool for almost every patient. She holds her certification in Kinesiology Tape (KT-Tape) and soon will be certified in Women’s Health and Pelvic Floor Dysfunction beginning March of 2023. 

Ashley believes that some of the best care that can be provided is education. Patients can feel lost and out of touch with their busy lives and non-stop doctor appointments so she likes to take time with her patients to answer any questions, comments or concerns to the best of her ability to make patients feel confident in their treatment going forward. Ashley loves building relationships with her patients as well as their loved-ones and/or caregivers. It is a bitter-sweet feeling for her when her patients are able to finally graduate their physical therapy journey!

Ashley grew up in Lake in the Hills, but currently resides in East Dundee with her fiancée and Rottweiler, Granite. In her spare time, she loves to spend time with friends and family as well as paint ceramics. She’s an all-around Chicago sports team supporter (minus the White Sox) and The Ohio State Buckeyes Football fan (O-H…I-O).
