Alla Kedzierski

Alla began her physical therapy journey in Chicago while attending Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine receiving her doctorate in physical therapy, where she developed her appreciation for the Chicagoland area. Her treatment philosophy centers on the connection between the brain, body, and nervous system, emphasizing a holistic approach to her patient care. Alla is passionate about empowering her patients through education, tailored exercises, and manually assisted movement techniques to help them confidently return to their daily activities.

She is trained in various soft tissue mobilization techniques, including Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), cupping, along with other manual manipulation techniques improving motion while reducing pain. She is also certified in blood flow restriction (BFR) for expedited muscle strength and hypertrophy during rehabilitation.

Fascinated by the body’s intricate systems-such as the heart, lungs, and nervous system – Alla combines her expertise in exercise, manual therapy, and evidence-based practices to promote healing and recovery. She enjoys working with Orthopedic (Bone, Muscle, Joint) injuries, in particular the ankle, knee, and hip. Additionally, she is experienced treating patients with chronic back pain and is dedicated to helping patients feel in control of their rehabilitation journey.

Originally from Metro Detroit, Alla is a proud Michigander who loves celebrating her roots in the “Great Lake State.” She graduated from Michigan State University, where she was an enthusiastic member of the Izzones and continues to enjoy the excitement of March Madness by participating in annual brackets. Alla’s passion for teaching and helping others began as a swim coach in her local neighborhood, where she found immense joy witnessing swimmers progress from their first laps to a newfound confidence in the water. She brings that same energy and dedication to the team here in River West.
