Michelle Cissell

Michelle Cissell PT, DPT, OCS, has been a physical therapist since 2008.  She received a Bachelors in Health Sciences from Grand Valley State University in Michigan and then her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Wayne State University in Michigan.  She then began her physical therapy career in Los Angeles California, with an emphasis on treating orthopaedic and sports injuries.  She became an orthopaedic board certified clinical specialist in 2012.  She then went on to do an extensive classical pilates training in 2014.  In 2016, Michelle moved back to the metro Detroit area to continue her physical therapy career working for Team Rehabilitation.  Michelle highly values continuing her education in physical therapy, and continues to pursue courses that allow her to treat the whole person.  Her most recently attended course was a course in pelvic floor function and dysfunction through the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute.
